Studio Etiquette
Checking In Before Each Class
Upon entering the studio, please stop at our front desk to check in. If this is your first time, you will complete necessary waivers, check-in and pay for classes, obtain class schedules/information, and get any unanswered questions answered by our front desk staff.
Dance Shoe Policy
Just like any other sport, you need the right equipment for the best results. If this is your first class, we do not require you to wear dance shoes, but we highly recommend it. Dance shoes not only provide great comfort and flexibility for your feet, they also protect your knees and ankles from injury. If you choose to continue your dance education, you will need and want to purchase a pair. For your convenience, dance shoes can be purchased at the Mambo Room. We offer top quality dance heels, mens shoes and also practical practice shoes. Read our official Dance Studio Policy for more information.
Children
We do not offer childcare assistance at the studio and ask that parents with small children be considerate of others that attend classes. We ask that arrangements for your children be made prior to your visit to the studio, as they will be unattended while you partake in classes. We do understand that things happen and if you must bring your child to the studio for a brief amount time, we ask that your child be seated near you during the class and undisruptive to others.
Socials
We offer a variety of socials throughout the month. Socials are a wonderful opportunity to practice what you have learned in class and become more comfortable with your dancing. It is also an opportunity to meet other dancers, socialize, and have a good time in a relaxed, non-judgmental atmosphere.
Food & Drink
No outside food or drink will be permitted in the studio. We do sell a variety of drinks (e.g. water, soda, etc.) and have two water fountains in the rear of the studio. At no time is alcohol permitted inside the studio.
Cell Phones
Please silence your cell phones upon entering the studio.
